WSD Delivers Mesothelioma-Attorney.com a Site Redesign and an Information Architecture Upgrade

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

mesothelioma-attorney.com homepage

WebSight Design is excited to launch a site redesign for long time mesothelioma law firm client, Clapper Patti Schweizer & Mason.

As part of an ongoing search marketing campaign and plan to make the site a comprehensive resource for mesothelioma patients and their loved ones, the new site has been updated with a layout that provides better organization of information. Among other steps, we have added new sections, combined mini sites, and upgraded the CMS to accommodate the new architecture and goals of the site.

A newly added section is dedicated to providing resources and information about legal rights to veterans with mesothelioma. There are over 22 million military veterans in the United States and anyone who served before the 1970s may have been exposed to asbestos and could be at risk of developing an asbestos-related disease such as mesothelioma. With such a large percentage of veterans at risk, it was important to design a part of the site tailored to this specific group.

The mesothelioma treatment section of the site exemplifies how the attorneys at Clapper Patti not only fight for the legal rights of their clients but how they also strive to assist and comfort their clients during the difficult process of coping with a mesothelioma diagnosis. It now includes content from the law firm’s old mini site that was created specifically to deliver treatment and support options to mesothelioma patients.

The enhanced CMS supports the main objectives of the search marketing plan for the site. It allows administrators to easily add and subtract subpages to the main navigation sections as well as move them around if necessary.

Search Marketing Efforts Continue for STDandHIVtesting.com

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

November marks the fifth month of WebSight Design’s ongoing marketing relationship with STDand HIVtesting.com. Our efforts have resulted in a well-refined PPC campaign, consistently growing revenue, and a 300% increase in organic traffic.

Our client offers STD and HIV testing in locations all across the United States. Options include herpes tests, gonorrhea tests, chlamydia tests, and syphilis tests. The company has partnered with the nation’s leading testing facilities to provide sexually active individuals with easy and confidential ways to get tested. One of the key web site components is the directory, which provides visitors with easy access to a directory of STD testing centers.

STDandHIVtesting.com is dedicated to promoting safe sexual health through testing and education. In order for these goals to be accomplished, it is imperative that the site has a strong web presence and can be found by individuals searching for STD and HIV testing clinics and information. The search marketing campaign that we have initiated for our client has already begun showing positive results and brings in an increased number of site visitors and conversions.

Future plans include ongoing organic search engine optimization and mobile development.

3 Reasons to Continue to Invest in Your Search Marketing Campaign

Search-Engine-Homepages

As counterintuitive as it may seem, I’ve noticed that when it comes time to limit budgets, marketing efforts are on the top of the list. And though the National Bureau of Economic Research has officially declared that we are out of the recession, businesses are still facing tough times and spending cautiously. For those of you looking for ways to cut back, I’m here to give you three reasons why it is wise to continue to invest in search marketing.

Recession = Research. Even though consumers are aiming to save more and spend less, there are still products and services they need and want. The quickest and easiest way for them to get the best deals is through researching on the Internet. And with thousands upon thousands of search results, your company will need to be on the first page of Google to get noticed amongst the competition. However, without a search marketing campaign, this cannot happen.

You’ll rise while the others sink. As previously mentioned, most companies are allocating less to their marketing budgets. Supporters of reducing marketing spend might say there’s no need to throw away money if the competition is not. I am taking the opposite stance. Be the smart one and continue to develop your search marketing campaign. While everyone else is sinking in the search result pages, your company will be achieving top results and visibility.

Get the most out of your money. When cutbacks are necessary, it is the time to be cost-effective. Having a successful search marketing plan is one of the best ways to make sure your marketing dollars are not being wasted. By properly optimizing your site and developing the right PPC campaigns, these visitors will be quality leads that are more likely to convert. And with various analytics programs available, it is easy to track activity, justify your expenses, and see your ROI.

WebSight Design understands how important search engine optimization (SEO) is to your site. Having bad SEO is like opening your shop in the middle of the desert, and forbidding people from having your phone number and address.  Not much business is going to happen that way!  But buyer beware, there are many different SEO scams out there, some of which could even get your site banned from Google.  When it comes to SEO, you want experts who have years of industry experience and understand best practices.

Recently one of our SEO experts, Alan Bleiweiss, published a case study for StorageSeeker.com on Search Engine Journal, one of the premier SEO blogs online.  In it he shares the methodology he used to get our client to the top of the first page of Google.  Alan and the SEO team at WebSight Design are masters at best-practice SEO techniques and achieving awesome organic search results.
